Purpose:

The Marion Education Foundation Fund is a designated fund at Marion Community Foundation designed to support innovative educational opportunities within the Marion City Schools and distribute resources that will supplement and enhance the quality of education in our schools.

By contributing to the Marion Education Foundation Fund, donors support student development through enrichment programs, activities, and the recognition of student accomplishments.

Grants awarded by this fund will encourage creativity among MCS employees by financially supporting unique educational opportunities and providing resources for creative ideas.

By establishing this fund at Marion Community Foundation, contributions, both large and small, can be combined for the benefit of Marion City Schools Students.  Marion Community Foundation is a unique charitable organization.  Through MCFs guidance, donors achieve their philanthropic goals with the creation of self directed funds that are designed to last forever.  Simply put, the foundation maximizes the power of investing accumulated donations so that an individual gift has the opportunity to be part of something far greater that what it might accomplish on its own. The Marion Education Foundation Fund will exist in perpetuity and serve multiple, future generations of local students.

The Marion Education Foundation Fund will excel in perpetuity and serve multiple, future generations of local students.
