Purpose:
The Marion Education Foundation Fund is
a designated fund at Marion Community
Foundation designed to support
innovative educational opportunities
within the Marion City Schools and
distribute resources that will
supplement and enhance the quality of
education in our schools.
By
contributing to the Marion Education
Foundation Fund, donors support student
development through enrichment programs,
activities, and the recognition of
student accomplishments.
Grants awarded by this fund will
encourage creativity among MCS employees
by financially supporting unique
educational opportunities and providing
resources for creative ideas.
By establishing this fund at Marion
Community Foundation, contributions,
both large and small, can be combined
for the benefit of Marion City Schools
Students. Marion Community Foundation
is a unique charitable organization.
Through MCFs guidance, donors achieve
their philanthropic goals with the
creation of self directed funds that are
designed to last forever. Simply put,
the foundation maximizes the power of
investing accumulated donations so that
an individual gift has the opportunity
to be part of something far greater that
what it might accomplish on its own. The
Marion Education Foundation Fund will
exist in perpetuity and serve multiple,
future generations of local students.
